i started my career releasing music under the name 'eris justin' writing tagalog songs from 2018 up until 2021 in which i was able to garner 6.6M streams throughout all platforms. i then took a quick break and decided to start another artist project called 'aries justin' ~releasing my english songs this time. also, i did what everybody said i should do to be considered a successful artist. i moved to LA. i co-wrote songs with other artists. i met people. i was networking A LOT. producing for artists. studio sessions w lots of artists. trying to get signed. we were in hollywood. i looked successful. but i was not. i was tired. i wasnt happy. ive millions of horror stories about your typical hollywood stars. we were all trying to get picked by that one person and be the next star and work for the big man. the big label. good for all that got picked. good for them. its when i realized i didnt really wanna get picked. i wanna do my own thing. i want me to pick me instead of them to pick me. its the new age. i can have my own platform. we do not need a label. you can be your own label. build your own following. post content. consistently. i did it. you can check my socials. its a long scroll tho. dont say i didnt warn you. at the same time i also released music. very frequently. because i can. this gave me so much power. so we ditched LA and moved to the country side. ~when i say we i meant me and my partner. she's been w me through the lows and the highs. we bought our own home and started our own business. we also invested in real estate. and here we are now. still making music. because i can. and im not working for nobody. nobody can stop me when to write or what to write about. none of that weird demonic stuff. im good. i make my own money and more. i like it better that way. so here we are now. still writing music. still posting music. and ill never stop because its what i do. this is what i do.
